Increase your speed while swimming.
Level 1: 10% increase.
Level 2: 20% increase.
Level 3: 30% increase.
Doubles all non-treasure fishing catches.
Level 1: 20% chance.
Level 2: 30% chance.
Level 3: 40% chance.
Speed up the default speed of fishing.
Level 1: 30% increase.
Level 2: 60% increase.
Level 3: 80% increase.
Eating fish-based food grants more hunger and saturation. Currently included foods are:
Raw Cod
Raw Salmon
Tropical Fish
Pufferfish
Cooked Cod
Cooked Salmon
Nigiri
Level 1: Increase saturation and hunger for a total of 1.
Level 2: Increase saturation and hunger for a total of 2.
Pull held items or armour off of hooked mobs and drops it on the floor, this uses up a lot of durability.
Level 1: 10% chance.

Use the fishing rod like a grappling hook that propels you at whatever block or mob it's attached to.
Level 1: Works on entities only. Duration of 5 seconds with a cooldown of 100 seconds.
Level 2: Works on entities and blocks over a short distance. Duration of 10 seconds with a cooldown of 60 seconds.
Level 3: Works on entities and blocks over a long distance. Duration of 15 seconds with a cooldown of 35 seconds.
Ability to locate and catch rare fish that can be turned into masterwork oil for use in the masterwork set. These fish can be located in:
Riverfish in rivers.
Icefish in frozen oceans.
Shimmerfish in warm oceans.
At levels 10, 15, 20, and 25 new recipes are unlocked automatically. They do not have to be bought with a skill point.
