Making Money
In order to contribute to, upkeep, or create a town, players must earn money. Money can also be used to purchase upgrades in the /upgrades menu or buy access to dungeons at /dungeons. There are several ways a player can do this:
Jobs
Voting
Trading
Chatgames
Referrals
You can check your current balance with /bal. Upon joining for the first time players start with 5,000 Gold.

Voting
Voting is a great way to gain money, experience and rare items. Once a day, use /vote and vote on each of our 6 sites. You earn a Vote Key from each successful vote, these keys let you access the Vote Crate at Spawn, where you can win rare prizes! Voting is an amazing way to help grow the server too, so make sure to vote every day so we can reach more and more people. Every 78 votes all online players get a special key, this is known as a "Vote Party". These special VoteParty Keys grant even rarer items, some unobtainable in survival! So make sure to vote frequently to have the best chance of getting one.
Greylisting
Greylisting is a mechanic we use to help us identify the group of players who are willing to stick around and help our server grow. Applying to the Greylist is simple: All you need to do is upvote and comment on one or both of our forum posts. The comment must contain your username, age and 1 thing you love about the server. Being accepted onto the Greylist can give you 5,000G per accepted application. Links to the posts can be seen below:

Market Place
United Lands uses a player-led economy, that means there are no Admin shops. Everything you buy and sell also involves another player. To access the marketplace, use /mp listings to see everything for sale - or /mp listings [player] for items just from a specified user.
To sell an item, hold it in your hand and use /mp sell [price], the price will be per unit. So if you have 10 dirt in your hand and you sell it for 10 Gold, each one will cost 10 Gold. If another player buys your item, you will receive some mail notifying you. Every item you put up for sale will remain on the market for 1 week. You may not use the marketplace to store items you do not intend to sell.
To buy an item from another player, first navigate to the marketplace and find the desired item, then:
Left click to buy one item.
Middle click to buy a custom quantity (enter quantity in chat).
Right click to buy 64 items.
The item is then stored in your mailbox, which can be accessed with /mp mails. Left click the item to then move it to your inventory.
Chat Games
Chat games appear randomly throughout your play session, roughly every 15 minutes. Compete against everyone online to be the first to finish the task, these can range from breaking blocks to answering questions. The first person to do so will earn some money, prizes can range anywhere from 100G to 800G - so be quick! You can check the ongoing game with /cb current.
Referrals
Do /ref in game when you join and tell us how you found the server. Doing this will give you 1,000G (and 500G to the friend named if you heard from them). This is a great way to earn a quick amount of money and helps us know more about our players.
